Why is Online Gambling Banned in the USA

It is actually easy to protect minors, as in most countries where online gambling is illegal, players are required to provide appropriate ID that will confirm that they are over 18.

Gambling is actually a very social activity and unless the person in question was anti-social even before they started gambling, there is no sign that gambling encourages people to become anti-social.

The states own and run lotteries, which advertise and encourage people to buy tickets. Tickets are not very expensive, but the prizes that can be won are.

What is that if not gambling? The same gambling that the government says is wrong.

But it is not wrong when it is organized by them, because then they get all the revenues from it and fill in the state coffers.

Sure there are people who are compulsive gamblers, but most people who enjoy playing casino games can control themselves, play only casually and don’t wager more than they can afford to lose.

After all if you dont have any money you cant afford to eat or pay your rent.
