Why My Kids Misbehave in Restaurants

Small kids and what might be considered "appropriate behavior" in restaurants can be a rarity, as well as being a dividing topic in this parenting age.

I took them outside lots of times.

I've maybe resorted to giving an electronic device to my kids in a restaurant once (that's not an exaggeration).

OK, maybe I haven't used those exact words, but yeah, I've told my kids to lower their voices and "be quiet now or else." Or else what? We go outside and you don't get to finish those french fries (again). And yes, I stick to my threat.

"That lady is staring at us, wondering why we're being so crazy in a restaurant."

This has worked very well for me.
